💡 Possible varieties in the box:

Lion’s mane (Hericium erinaceus)
A delicate mushroom with a firm texture that resembles seafood or shrimp. Great for steaks or grilling. Perfect for simple preparations that highlight its natural flavor.

Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus)
A popular, versatile mushroom with a full, earthy flavor. Great for soups, stir-fries, frying, or as a filling for toasts. Easily absorbs other flavors and combines well.

Shiitake (Lentinula edodes)
An intense umami taste with a nutty note. Traditional in Asian cuisine, but we love it simply lightly sautéed in butter. Perfect with rice, noodles, or vegetables.

Golden oyster mushroom (Pleurotus citrinopileatus)
A delicate, fresh mushroom with a slightly marine flavor and subtle umami. Just quickly sauté in a pan — ideally with soy sauce and lemon juice. Great as a light summer side dish.

Pink oyster mushroom (Pleurotus djamor)
A strongly aromatic mushroom with a meaty, lightly smoky flavor reminiscent of bacon. Best briefly sautéed. Great for risotto or as a bold addition to vegetable dishes.

Pioppino mushroom (Agrocybe aegerita)
A mushroom with a mild, nutty flavor reminiscent of porcini. Ideal for soups or dishes inspired by Italian cuisine. Excellent in risotto, pasta, or simply sautéed.

King oyster mushroom (Pleurotus eryngii)
Has firm flesh and a mild taste, perfect for grilling. Best sliced thin, sautéed, or grilled with a bit of garlic. Excellent as a side dish or vegetarian steak.
